22 Dreams originally dates from 2008 and is Paul Weller's ninth solo album. He spread twenty-one songs across four sides and let the styles run into each other: folk and acoustic miniatures next to psychedelia, piano pieces and hard rock. Graham Coxon, Noel Gallagher, Gem Archer and regular guitarist Steve Cradock all play on it. The album entered the UK chart at number one and earned Weller his first Mercury Prize nomination since Wild Wood.
