Between 1988 and 1991 Pixies recorded six sessions for the BBC, five for John Peel and one for Mark Goodier. This collection gathers all twenty-four recordings from them in chronological order, with material from Come On Pilgrim, Surfer Rosa, Doolittle and Bossanova, and with Allison and Wave of Mutilation in two different versions. Three covers are included as well: Wild Honey Pie by The Beatles, In Heaven (Lady in the Radiator Song) from Eraserhead and Hang On to Your Ego by The Beach Boys. The sleeve is a new design by Chris Bigg using previously unpublished archive imagery by Simon Larbalestier.
