Perfecth is a deliberate misspelling: according to Josh Homme, "perfect" as a word has never been honest, because it does not exist. The ninth studio album by Queens of the Stone Age, the follow-up to In Times New Roman..., was made in the spirit of kintsugi, the Japanese practice of repairing broken pottery with gold. Homme produced it with bassist Michael Shuman, and the nine tracks were recorded in New Orleans and Los Angeles. "Easy Street", featuring country singer Nikki Lane, and "Insignificant Other", a song Homme describes as being about distance, came out ahead of it. The album is on the Matador label.
