About this CD
Read through the credits of Foreign Tongues and half of rock history passes by: Paul McCartney on bass, Steve Winwood on piano and organ, Robert Smith of The Cure, and on Hit Me in the Head a drum part by Charlie Watts, recorded in 2021 before his passing later that year. It is the twenty-fifth studio album by The Rolling Stones, released on July 10, 2026 and produced by Andrew Watt, who also handled Hackney Diamonds (2023). The fourteen songs, including the singles In the Stars, Rough and Twisted and Jealous Lover and a cover of Chuck Berry's Beautiful Delilah, stay close to the core of the band: raw rock 'n' roll, blues and ballads with Jagger, Richards and Wood front and centre. Rolling Stone called it "an album that lives up to their legacy". This edition is a CD with Blu-ray.
