Under a Blood Red Sky was originally released in 1983 as a short live mini-album, shortly after the studio album War. Most of the recordings come from a concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, supplemented with performances from other dates in the same period. The record captures the raw, energetic live sound of the early band, with versions of "Sunday Bloody Sunday", "Gloria", "New Year's Day" and "I Will Follow". The album helped establish U2's reputation as a live act.

This release is an LP on black vinyl.
