Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols, released in 1977, was the only studio album by the British punk band the Sex Pistols. The record became a turning point in the punk movement and voiced the raw, rebellious attitude of British youth. With provocative singles such as 'God Save the Queen', 'Anarchy in the U.K.' and 'Pretty Vacant', the band stirred considerable controversy. Chris Thomas's production gave the guitars a thick, wall-like sound. Despite the band's short lifespan, the album remained extraordinarily influential.
