A Hard Day's Night was originally released in 1964 as the soundtrack to the first Beatles film. It was the first album to feature only Lennon and McCartney compositions, with no covers. The first side holds the songs from the film, with the title track and "Can't Buy Me Love"; the second side adds further work from the same period. The opening chord of the title song became one of the most recognisable sounds in their catalogue. This release is an LP.
