The Black Crowes
The Black Crowes arrived in 1990 with Shake Your Money Maker, a record that brought back a sound the grunge era had written off: Stones-style riffs, gospel backing vocals and the raw voice of Chris Robinson, with his brother Rich on guitar. That debut produced Hard to Handle and She Talks to Angels, and The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion (1992) went straight in at number one on the US album chart. With Amorica (1994) and later Before the Frost...Until the Freeze (2009) the band moved towards looser, more jam-minded records. Fights between the brothers brought the group to a halt more than once, until the 2019 reunion led to Happiness Bastards (2024) and A Pound of Feathers (2026).
This collection brings together The Black Crowes on vinyl, LP and CD: reissues and anniversary boxes of the classics, live albums and the recent work.
