Percy is the soundtrack The Kinks wrote in 1971 for the British film comedy of the same name. Alongside short instrumental pieces it holds fully formed songs, God's Children the best known among them, an argument for leaving the human body alone that fitted the film's subject exactly. The Way Love Used to Be, Moments and Animals in the Zoo rank with the band's stronger work of those years, and an instrumental version of Lola is included. Reprise declined to release the album in the United States at the time, which kept it rare there for decades. This edition is a picture disc, released for Record Store Day in an edition of 5,000 copies.
