The record spawned several singles, including GoldenEye, the theme song of the James Bond film of the same name, and On Silent Wings with Sting. Producers such as Trevor Horn, Terry Britten and the Pet Shop Boys worked on the album. The music moves between pop, rock and soul ballads. The record reached number four on the UK albums chart and went double platinum there.
