Rhino gathered the thirteen singles Van Halen released in Japan between 1978 and 1984. Each 7-inch is a replica carrying the original Japanese sleeve art, packed together in a box shaped like a cigarette pack. The selection runs across the first six albums, from Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love, You Really Got Me and Dance the Night Away to Unchained, (Oh) Pretty Woman, Panama and Jump, each with the B-side that appeared on the Japanese pressing at the time.
