This box set gathers the six studio albums Van Halen made with singer David Lee Roth between 1978 and 1984: the self-titled debut, Van Halen II, Women and Children First, Fair Warning, Diver Down and 1984. It is the period in which Eddie Van Halen redrew hard rock guitar playing with Eruption and Spanish Fly, and in which the band grew from a club act into a stadium act, with Jump, Panama, Runnin' with the Devil and Unchained among the best-known songs. Chris Bellman mastered the albums in 2015 directly from the original tapes.
This edition is a box set with 6 LPs on 180-gram vinyl, in a limited pressing.
