Origins Vol.2 originally came out in 2020 as the second instalment of the series in which Ace Frehley plays the songs that shaped him as a young guitarist. It holds versions of, among others, Led Zeppelin ("Good Times Bad Times"), Deep Purple ("Space Truckin'"), The Beatles ("I'm Down"), The Kinks ("Lola"), Jimi Hendrix ("Manic Depression") and The Animals ("We Gotta Get Out Of This Place"). Lita Ford guests on "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and Cheap Trick's Robin Zander sings "30 Days In The Hole", originally by Humble Pie. Frehley keeps the arrangements close to the originals and lays his own guitar work over the top.
