Delta Kream is a covers album: eleven songs from the Mississippi hill country blues, the R.L. Burnside and Junior Kimbrough repertoire Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney started out on as teenagers. They recorded it at Easy Eye Sound in Nashville with Kenny Brown on guitar and Eric Deaton on bass, two musicians who played for years with Burnside and Kimbrough. According to Carney nothing was rehearsed and the whole album was finished in about ten hours, spread over two afternoons. The band's tenth album originally appeared in 2021. This edition is a 2-LP on smoke marbled vinyl, an indie exclusive pressing.
