Live Evil is a live album by Black Sabbath, originally released in 1982 and recorded during the tour for 'Mob Rules'. It captures the Dio line-up — Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and drummer Vinny Appice — with live renditions of both Dio-era material ('Neon Knights', 'The Mob Rules', 'Heaven and Hell') and Ozzy-era classics ('War Pigs', 'Iron Man', 'Paranoid'). The recordings coincided with the tensions that ultimately led to Dio's departure.
This edition is a 4-LP super deluxe edition on black vinyl, released to mark the fortieth anniversary.
