Eat to the Beat arrived less than a year after Parallel Lines and shows how quickly Blondie could move: from the driving drums of Dreaming, where Clem Burke barely stops for breath, through the moody Union City Blue to the disco-leaning Atomic, which reached number one in the United Kingdom. The fourth studio album, originally released in 1979 and again produced by Mike Chapman, also got a video version with a clip for every song, which was new at the time. Die Young Stay Pretty, Shayla and the title track are on it as well.
