Tattooed Millionaire is the debut solo album by Bruce Dickinson and originally appeared in 1990, while he was still the singer of Iron Maiden. Dickinson wrote the material together with guitarist Janick Gers, who would join Iron Maiden later that year. The album deliberately opts for straightforward hard rock, in contrast to the epic metal of Iron Maiden. The title track was released as a single, as was the cover of All the Young Dudes, originally written by David Bowie and made famous by Mott the Hoople. The autobiographical Born in '58 refers to Dickinson's birth year. Tattooed Millionaire reached the top 20 of the UK Album Chart.
