Day and Night is Carly Rae Jepsen's eighth studio album, twenty-four songs split across a Day half and a Night half. Day is the organic one: live instrumentation, warm arrangements and a nod to seventies psychedelic pop. Night moves into sleek, synth-driven dance pop. On Wires went out ahead of the album as the first single. In its review, Rolling Stone called the album 'a double-album dissertation on love'.
