Charli XCX re-recorded almost every track with a different guest, which makes these new versions rather than ordinary remixes. Lorde wrote her own verse for Girl, So Confusing about the tension between the two of them, Ariana Grande turned up on Sympathy Is a Knife, Billie Eilish on Guess and Bon Iver on I Think About It All the Time. Robyn, Yung Lean, Troye Sivan, Caroline Polachek, Julian Casablancas, Tinashe, The Japanese House, Addison Rae, Shygirl and Kesha appear as well. A. G. Cook handled most of the production.
