A Rush of Blood to the Head was Coldplay's second studio album and originally came out in 2002 as the follow-up to 2000's Parachutes. The album showcased a bigger, guitar- and piano-driven rock sound. In My Place, The Scientist and Clocks were among the album's best-known songs. Clocks won the Grammy Award for Record of the Year in 2004. The album marked Coldplay's definitive international breakthrough.
