Music of the Spheres was Coldplay's ninth studio album and originally came out in 2021, produced by Max Martin. The album is built around an invented planetary system, with every track tied to its own world and several of the titles written as symbols. Higher Power opened the run of singles, Let Somebody Go became a duet with Selena Gomez, and My Universe, recorded with BTS, entered at number one in the United States. Closing track Coloratura runs for more than ten minutes, standing in sharp contrast to the short, radio-ready songs around it. The album reached number one in the United Kingdom.
