Desolation is the debut album by Cuby + Blizzards, originally released in 1966. The blues band from the Dutch province of Drenthe, led by singer Harry Muskee and guitarist Eelco Gelling, set the tone for Dutch blues rock with raw songs indebted to American electric blues, such as Desolation Blues, Hobo Blues and Five Long Years. The title refers to Jack Kerouac's book Desolation Angels, and the album was awarded an Edison. This edition is a 2-LP on blue vinyl.
