On 1 November 2024, the day Songs of a Lost World came out, The Cure played that album in full at the Troxy in London, to three thousand people in the room and a free global stream watched by more than a million. Songs of a Live World documents that night: the same eight songs in the same order, from the opening 'Alone' to the ten-minute 'Endsong'. All of the band's royalties from this recording go to the charity War Child.
