"D.J." was originally released in 1979 as a single from David Bowie's album Lodger, the third part of his Berlin trilogy. The song, with its angular guitar work and ironic take on DJ culture, reached the UK charts at the time. This reissue pairs a later mix of "D.J." with a live version of "Boys Keep Swinging".
