On 22 May 2023 Def Leppard played Bramall Lane, the home ground of Sheffield United and a homecoming in the city where the band started in 1977. Nearly forty thousand people saw the opening night of their European tour with Mötley Crüe. The seventeen-song set runs from Photograph, Rock of Ages and Pour Some Sugar on Me to Take What You Want and This Guitar, both played live in Europe for the first time; the band dedicated the latter to guitarist Steve Clark, who died in 1991.
