De Dijk is a band from Amsterdam that makes Dutch-language music rooted in soul, blues and rock, with Huub van der Lubbe as singer. This live release captures material from 1981, the band's earliest days. It features early performances of their repertoire, including a German-language version of 'Bloedend Hart' alongside the Dutch one. The recordings show the group in its formative years, shortly after their first concerts. It is a document of the starting point of one of the best-known Dutch-language bands.
