4US was released in 1983 as a studio album by Dutch band Doe Maar. The record included songs such as "Doe Maar Net Alsof", "Nooit Meer Slapen" and "Pa". On the album, Doe Maar combined their signature mix of ska, reggae and new wave with Dutch-language lyrics. At the time, the band was at the height of its popularity in the Netherlands, with massive concerts and chart hits. 4US built on the success of earlier albums such as Skunk. The album confirmed Doe Maar's status as one of the biggest Dutch-language pop acts of the 1980s.
