Strange Days was The Doors' second studio album, originally released in 1967 on Elektra Records, only months after their debut. The band leaned hard into the studio here: a Moog synthesizer colours the title track and the treated vocal on 'Horse Latitudes'. Singles such as 'Love Me Two Times' and 'People Are Strange' sit alongside the sprawling 'When the Music's Over', which closes the album at nearly eleven minutes. The line-up remained Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore, again produced by Paul A. Rothchild.
