Blue Hawaii is the soundtrack to the 1961 film of the same name and became Elvis Presley's fourth soundtrack album. Its fourteen songs range from the title track and the ballad 'Can't Help Falling in Love' to livelier numbers such as 'Rock-a-Hula Baby', set against a Hawaiian backdrop of steel guitar and vocal harmonies. Originally released on RCA Victor, the album spent twenty weeks at number one on the US album chart, longer than any other Presley record, and became one of the most successful film soundtracks of the 1960s.
