Two years after her first English-language album, Hardy made a second one, originally released in October 1968. This time there were no translations of her own work but covers from Anglo-American pop: Loving You by Elvis Presley, Will You Love Me Tomorrow by Goffin and King, Hang On to a Dream by Tim Hardin, That'll Be the Day by Buddy Holly, and There But for Fortune by Phil Ochs. The arrangements were divided between Charles Blackwell, Arthur Greenslade, Simon Napier-Bell, and Jean-Pierre Sabar, which makes the tracks differ considerably in character. Hardy sang the English lyrics softly and hesitantly, giving familiar songs a more reticent tone than the originals.
