Prequelle was Ghost's fourth studio album and originally appeared in 2018. The plague years of the fourteenth century set the scene for songs about collapse and survival, with 'Rats' as the opening single and the exuberant 'Dance Macabre' halfway through. Two instrumentals sit between the heavier tracks, among them 'Miasma' with its saxophone solo. Tobias Forge, publicly known as the man behind the Ghost concept since 2017, recorded the album with session musicians. This edition is an LP.
