At ten songs in just over twenty-six minutes, Father of All Motherfuckers is the shortest album in Green Day's catalogue. Butch Walker produced it with the band; the sound leans on garage rock, glam and falsetto vocals rather than the rock-opera scale of American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown. The thirteenth studio album originally came out in February 2020 and was the last the band made for Reprise Records. "Father of All...", "Fire, Ready, Aim", "Oh Yeah!" and "Meet Me On The Roof" preceded it as singles, and the album entered the charts at number one in the UK and Australia.
