The Great Milenko was originally released in 1997 on Hollywood Records, but parent company Disney pulled the album from stores on its day of release; Island Records put it out again shortly afterwards. It is the fourth Joker's Card in the series with which Insane Clown Posse built up their Dark Carnival mythology, produced by Mike E. Clark. Slash plays the guitar solo on Halls of Illusions and Alice Cooper speaks the intro; Hokus Pokus and What Is a Juggalo? became the songs the Juggalo following organised itself around. The album went platinum in the United States.
