Between 1981 and 1984 Johnny Cash recorded an album with producer Billy Sherrill that Columbia never released, after which the tapes vanished into the archive. His son John Carter Cash found them again in 2012, and the material first appeared in 2014 through Legacy Recordings. What you hear is Cash in the early 1980s, with Sherrill's smoother Nashville production under songs such as Out Among the Stars and She Used to Love Me a Lot. June Carter Cash sings on Baby Ride Easy and Don't You Think It's Come Our Time, Waylon Jennings on I'm Movin' On. The album entered at number 1 on Billboard's country chart and number 3 on the Billboard 200. This edition is an LP in a gatefold sleeve.
