Miles of Aisles, originally released in 1974 on Asylum Records, is Joni Mitchell's first live album, recorded on her 1974 tour with the jazz group The L.A. Express. Familiar songs from her folk years — 'Big Yellow Taxi', 'A Case of You', 'Both Sides Now' — are given looser, jazz-inflected arrangements. Alongside the established material the record carries two new compositions, 'Jericho' and 'Love or Money'. The double album captures the shift she was making in the mid-seventies.
