The twelfth studio album was originally released in October 2016 on Roadrunner Records and was announced with the single Rotting in Vain. Jonathan Davis shifts from whispering to scatting to screaming within a single song, while Munky and Head keep the riffs low and tight; Corey Taylor of Slipknot sings on A Different World.
