Coda gathers up what was still on the shelf after twelve years. Two years after John Bonham's death and the end of the band, Jimmy Page assembled a final album from rejected studio takes and live material; it originally came out in November 1982. It spans the whole run: 'We're Gonna Groove' and 'I Can't Quit You Baby' date from the early days, 'Poor Tom' from the Led Zeppelin III period, 'Walter's Walk' from the Houses of the Holy sessions, and 'Ozone Baby', 'Darlene' and the fast 'Wearing and Tearing' were left over from In Through the Out Door. 'Bonzo's Montreux' is a drum piece by Bonham alone, treated with electronic effects. This edition is the deluxe edition, a 3-LP on black vinyl.
