After Risk (1999), on which Megadeth had strayed far from thrash, the band turned back to heavier guitars with The World Needs a Hero. The ninth studio album originally came out in 2001 on Sanctuary Records, with Al Pitrelli on guitar next to Dave Mustaine. 'Return to Hangar' is a sequel to 'Hangar 18' from Rust in Peace, and 'Moto Psycho' and 'Dread and the Fugitive Mind' were released as singles. The album reached number sixteen on the Billboard 200. This edition is a 2-LP.
