For Youthanasia Megadeth moved into a converted building near Phoenix, where producer Max Norman set the band at a slower and steadier tempo than on earlier records. The sixth studio album first appeared in 1994 and reached number four on the Billboard 200. Best known are 'A Tout le Monde', a farewell letter that radio stations read as an encouragement to suicide, and 'Train of Consequences'. The album went platinum in the United States.
