Make-Up Is A Lie came out on 6 March 2026 through Sire Records and was Morrissey's first album in six years. For his fourteenth solo album he worked again with Joe Chiccarelli, the producer of Low in High School, and the sessions took place at La Fabrique in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. The twelve songs run from the title track and Notre-Dame to The Night Pop Dropped and The Monsters of Pig Alley, with a reworking of Roxy Music's Amazona in between. This edition is a gatefold LP on red vinyl, exclusive to independent record shops.
