Vauxhall and I is Morrissey's fourth solo album and originally came out in March 1994. Steve Lillywhite produced the sessions at Hook End Manor in Oxfordshire and chose a softer, more restrained sound than the raw Your Arsenal before it, with plenty of acoustic guitar, space in the mix, and a vocal that rarely rises. The album went to number 1 in Britain. The single The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get reached number 8 and remained his only British top 10 placing of the 1990s. Elsewhere there are songs such as Now My Heart Is Full, Hold On to Your Friends, and the closing Speedway. This edition is an LP.
