Iron Fist is the fifth studio album by British rock band Motörhead and originally came out in April 1982 through Bronze Records. The album was recorded by the classic lineup of vocalist/bassist Lemmy Kilmister, guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke and drummer Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor, and marked the trio's final album together. Recording initially began under producer Vic Maile at Jackson's Studio in Rickmansworth, but after a falling out with Maile, Eddie Clarke took over production himself, with Will Reid Dick as engineer. Iron Fist includes tracks such as the title track, Heart of Stone and Speedfreak, continuing the raw, fast style that had made Motörhead's name. Following the album's release, Eddie Clarke left the band, bringing an end to the lineup that had made albums such as Ace of Spades and Bomber.
