Harvest Moon was originally released in 1992 and is regarded as the late counterpart to Harvest, arriving twenty years after that album. Neil Young returned to understated folk and country here, with plenty of acoustic guitar, steel guitar and soft harmony vocals. The title track, 'Unknown Legend' and 'From Hank to Hendrix' are among the best-known songs from this period. The mood is warm and settled, far from the electric fury Young was also making around that time. This release is a 2-LP on black vinyl (etched D-side).
