After a tour of South America, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe brought Latin American rhythms and percussion back into the studio. Bilingual, originally released in 1996, puts that influence to work on "Se a Vida É (That's the Way Life Is)" and "Discoteca", while "Before" and "A Red Letter Day" stay closer to the dancefloor with house beats and choir. The duo's sixth studio album entered the UK chart at number four.
