Little Man originally appeared in 2006, in the period when The Pineapple Thief were still on Cyclops and Bruce Soord recorded almost everything himself. The fifth studio album alternates short, melodic songs built on acoustic guitar with heavier, more densely produced pieces. Opening track 'Dead in the Water' was re-recorded from scratch for Give It Back in 2022, as were 'Boxing Day' and the title track. Kscope reissued the album in 2024.
