Come originally came out in August 1994, in the middle of the standoff between Prince and Warner Bros. The sleeve reads 'Prince 1958-1993': by then he considered the name closed and had replaced it with an unpronounceable symbol. The music is slow and heavy, built around the eleven-minute title track, the sweltering funk of 'Pheromone' and 'Loose!' and the dark 'Papa'. 'Letitgo' was the only single and became the best-known song on the album.
