Rosenrot grew out of the Reise, Reise sessions: leftover material that Rammstein worked up into an album of its own, originally released in 2005. That shows in its loose feel, from the plain stomp of Benzin to the Spanish-language Te quiero puta! with its trumpets. On Stirb nicht vor mir, Sharleen Spiteri of Texas sings the English counter-voice alongside Till Lindemann. Benzin, Rosenrot, and Mann gegen Mann appeared as singles.
