Goats Head Soup followed Exile on Main St. in 1973 and was recorded partly in Kingston, Jamaica, where the band had relocated amid tax and visa issues. Under producer Jimmy Miller, Jagger and Richards wrote the languid 'Angie', which became a worldwide number-one hit, alongside rawer material such as 'Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)' and the provocative 'Star Star'. Ballads like 'Winter' and 'Coming Down Again' show the album's more restrained, soulful side. The album was originally released in 1973 and topped the charts in both the US and the UK. This edition is a 2-LP on black vinyl, a half-speed remastered deluxe edition with bonus material.
