On Inner Secrets, originally from 1978, Santana moved towards straightforward rock. The Latin percussion was given less room and the band recorded covers: Buddy Holly's Well All Right, in the Blind Faith reading, and Stormy by The Classics IV. One Chain (Don't Make No Prison) charted in the United States. Greg Walker sang again, and Chris Solberg and Chris Rhyne joined the band. This edition is an LP on red vinyl, pressed for the album's 45th anniversary.
