Santana again invited guest singers, from Michelle Branch on The Game of Love to Seal, Dido, Chad Kroeger, Macy Gray, and Plácido Domingo. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number one and The Game of Love reached number five on the US singles chart. Between the guest turns, the guitar remains the through line.
